Robyn is a girl that Ted went on a single date with.

In Good Crazy, Barney encourages Ted to try online dating by setting him up with three women.

Ted's first online date goes awry when his date's name is revealed to be Robyn (with a "y"). She is an enthusiast of scotch and guns, and is from Canada. As a result Ted suddenly visualizes Robin sitting in front of him and is determined to get her out of his mind.
