Laura Girard is the wife of Michael Girard and ex-neighbor of Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin.
In The Platinum Rule, Laura and Michael become Lily and Marshall's new friends until they get too clingy and Marshall and Lily drop them as friends. Lily and Marshall get scared of confronting her and Michael but they soon are able to say hi without being scared.
