Laser Tag is the much talked-of sport that Barney Stinson frequently plays, and brags of doing well at. His obsession with the game is present in a number of episodes where he mentions his liking of it.

Barney is a well known player of Laser Tag. He is also known for playing aggressively against the kids who play there. In the episode Murtaugh Barney gets banned from the Laser Tag arena after tp-ing it, although he is later re-admitted as he is seen playing again in later episodes.

McCraken is the current manager of the Laser Tag arena.

In Desperation Day, Barney and Nora end up spending the night talking about laser tag and later a laser tag tournament.

In Something Old, Barney takes Robin Scherbatsky Sr. to play lasertag but have a spat on who should be the point guy. They then make their separate teams to have a game against each other. When Robin Sr. corners Barney, he takes the batteries from Robin Sr.'s gun and then is about to kill him, when he asks him if he wants to continue playing. Barney then calls his team announcing their victory, and tells Robin Sr. that he is the point guy as they take the children out.

In The Rehearsal Dinner Barney says that there is an Rehearsal Dinner on Laser Tag, but Robin always says "There is no rehearsal dinner on laser tag!". Barney was caught by the security guard because trying for finding the rehearsal dinner in Laser Tag.
