Marissa Heller was the former resident of The Apartment before 2000, when Marshall and Ted moved in.
Ted continued to get her mail until 2010, when he, Marshall, Lily, and Barney decided to sneak into the swanky Van Smoot party at the Alberta building with her invitation. In the building's lobby they met Marissa, and after a talk with Ted, she invited the group.
The others in the gang find her to be overly pretentious, which Ted finds very attractive and calls dibs.
During the snobby party, Marissa continues to show interest in Ted, due to the pretentious qualities he displays which the rest of his friends usually mock him for. However at the last minute he receives a picture of Mexican Wrestler Ted, and leaves Marissa at the party. (Robots Versus Wrestlers)
Notes and Trivia[]
- We learn in The Duel that the Swords were left in the Apartment by the previous occupant. It is very possible that Marissa Heller is their previous owner.
